About Obi
Obi is a difficult dog who needs time to trust people.
At the moment he only copes being with one person at a time. He is fearful and can quickly lunge and nip.
He is very food motivated and learns very quickly.
He is looking for an owner with some training experience. He has a short coat and weighs 26.3kg.
Garden: Needs a home that has more space as well as a garden for exercise and regular walks outside.
NEEDS RESCUE EXPERIENCE:
These dogs need someone with previous rescue experience in rehabilitation, with an in depth understanding of and experience in building relationships with these kinds of dogs.
Suit Part Time Worker: Copes alone for short periods, with training possibly longer but presently does need someone home part of the time
Medical notes
He comes desexed, C5 vaccinated, heartworm free and microchipped. Also included for the love and health of our dogs is a free Health and Wellness Voucher with our DR Vet.
Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
