About Minty
Hello, my name is Minty, and I am a big, fluffy nine year old boy looking for a new home! I was found as a stray with a microchip, but we couldn't get in touch with my owners. I got stressed out at the shelter, but I'm slowly improving in my foster home.
I'm a bit of a scaredy cat when you first meet me, and sometimes I can hiss or growl when I feel trapped, but if you're patient with me I'm sure I'll be feeling calmer in no time. I've already shown heaps of improvement staying at my foster home, especially if you're gentle, slow, and quiet with me.
Once I've gotten to know you a little bit, I love a good head scratch, being hand-fed yummy chicken treats, and zooming around the house after dinner time. My favourite places to hide are in the laundry sink or the kitchen cabinets, or anywhere dark and cosy! My fur is super soft and fluffy, and my bright green eyes are very pretty too.
I'm missing quite a few teeth after having two dental surgeries this year, but despite not having my epic fangs anymore, my breath is Minty fresh and I'll gobble down any kind of food!
Please come meet me in my foster home in Nedlands.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
