About Layla- Dingo Kelpie Mix
Hi my name is Layla. I really love people and I'm looking for a home that wants an affectionate cuddly dog. Since coming to the dingo rescue shelter, I sleep in the bed with the live-in volunteers at night and love nothing more than to cuddle up on these cold winter evenings. I sleep through the night and don’t wake up again until morning.
I’m house-trained/toilet trained and I’m very quiet, and don't bark. I'm great in the car and know basic commands like sit, up and lie down.
I’m friendly and playful and would love another dingo or dog for company. I’m also good with cats but no small animals please as I am still a dingo. If you don’t have another dog for me that’s okay too, as long as I have human company!
I'm also good with children and would make a great addition to a family with kids as I’m very gentle and sweet.
I'd love someone who can take me for a big walk or run each day. I walk really well on lead but don’t have good recall off leash so I would be safer kept on lead. I could also go to the dog park as I love other dogs.
Layla is a dingo kelpie mix who has come to us after living on a farm with her previous human mum. She has won the hearts of everyone who has met her at the sanctuary. She deserves a loving family and we hope to see this sweet girl in a new furever home soon.
Layla need 1.6m secure fencing or higher.

Dingo Adoption:
1. Send an email inquiry with your name and contact details outlining your current living situation, pets and family members and anything else you think might be relevant, particularly what your house and yard are like. Remember our dingoes typically require an enclosure or modified fencing.
2. We will email you back adoption information and an application form to fill out and return to us.
3. If your application is approved- Come along to meet us and our dingoes at our Goulburn shelter or their foster carers' home and let us find the right furry family member for you. We can also come to you. We are happy to meet new prospective owners anywhere in NSW or the ACT.
4. Before you can pick up your new dingo you will also need to under a house/yard check and pay your adoption fee. No animals are rehomed unless their adoption fee is paid in full and a yard check has been completed.
