About Harlow
Harlow is a friendly but anxious girl around other dogs. She has a very loving affectionate nature with people. She is strong on lead and does pull. She is reactive past other dogs on lead and is looking for a home where she can be exercised without meeting many other dogs. Out walking she pulls on lead a bit and loves to run! She enjoys a pat and cuddle and will sit on command.
Walkers say "Really sweet and would be perfect for a high energy person." “Very strong on lead but relaxed when out of sight of dogs and trucks. Loved pats.”, “Walked well with my 8 year old daughter and I. Lovely smile, a little stubborn 😊” . "So loving and energetic but definitely a handful with distractions”, “Walked past quite a few dogs with no barking." She has a smooth coat and weighs 21.2kg.
Suit Full Time Worker: Not overly needy and can entertain itself. DR recommends play time, dog toys etc.
Garden: Needs a home that has more space as well as a garden for exercise and regular walks outside.
NEEDS RESCUE EXPERIENCE: Many people grow up with, or own a dog who has had no bad experiences in life. A dog who is confident and well rounded. However, many rescue dogs have not been as lucky in their lives.
These dogs need someone with previous rescue experience and an in depth understanding of and experience in building relationships with these kinds of dogs.
Medical notes
She comes desexed, C5 vaccinated, heartworm free and microchipped. Also included for the love and health of our dogs is a free Health and Wellness Voucher with our DR Vet.
Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
