About Ray Davies & Lou Reed
Both of the kittens are extremely affectionate - Lou in a bold, forward, attention seeking way, and Ray in a shy but adoring way. They love to play together, wrestling and playing chase when they have the zoomies, and if one is getting pet, the other shows up in a matter of seconds to get their pets in too. The two of them enjoy watching the world go by through the window, and saying hello to our neighbours as they come in and out of the backyard on their daily errands. In the evening, they usually both cuddle up on the couch near or on their human, enjoying some television and lounging time. While Lou is definitely the dominant brother, the two of them share everything without issue: Toys, beds, litter box, cat tree and can oftentimes be found drinking from the water bowl together - they are a harmonious pair. They are both super relaxed little kitties and learn quite quickly: they both have learned to not fear the vacuum or hair dryer, and are great about having their claws trimmed. Fully box trained and un-picky in their food selection, these two are the easiest and most charming little kittens you'll ever meet, and will bring a tremendous amount of joy to their new family.
Lou is a bold, curious and intelligent cat - he loves attention, and is always only a few meters away from the nearest human at hand. He is very talkative, chirping, meowing and purring to make his wants and needs known. He loves to jump into the arms of a human - a tap of the chest tells him you're ready to catch him - and his favourite place to be is laying across a person's shoulders like a warm scarf while you take your Zoom calls. Lou loves his playtime and will let you know when he wants to have some fun, bringing toys out of his toy box and dropping them at your feet with a little chirp - he has even learned to play fetch with his favourite toys: bouncy balls. Lou is incredibly relaxed, often sleeping on laps in the most ridiculous positions, and he welcomes newcomers with curiosity and attention, being totally fine with being held and pet by strangers.
Ray is the gentlest little kitten you ever did meet! He loves being pet, with almost a feeling of desperation as he tries to curl around your hand or curl up in your lap - and he never uses his claws when he play fights with his human. He spends a large portion of the day resting between your arms as you work at your keyboard. Ray is the first to run to the door when you walk in, and wraps himself around your ankles or stands up on his hind legs for pets. He prefers soft toys that he can carry around in his mouth, and loves stuffing them into shoes to hide them from his brother. He also is mesmerised by computer and television screens, watching the mouse move around, or sitting and watching television for large chunks of time. Quiet, but observant, Ray has a loud purr that seems to be constantly going - especially when he's eating or laying in your arms. Ray is a tad skittish, and takes longer than Lou to warm up to people - strangers send him running under the couch, but once he's won over, he is a ball of absolute love.
