About Shaz
Shaz is a funny girl who does awesome zoomies when you egg her on with a word or two! She is pretty and feminie with a glossy coat and a silly nature. She likes toys, especially ones that squeak!
Shaz is good with other dogs but likes rough wrestling games. She's suitable to a home with another dog that likes the same games as she does.
Shaz has been living in a pet home for the last 18 months and is toilet trained, used to be inside, and even used to sleeping on her people's bed!
We haven't tested Shaz with children, but she has been happy and friendly with all people. We expected that she would be suitable to a home with children 8+ years of age.
Shaz has a high prey drive and is not suitable to a home with cats. We anticipate she would chase most pocket pets and birds. (She has not shown prey-based behaviour to small dogs.)
While Shaz has shown no signs of behavioural problems, she comes with a free consult* with Dog Consultancy to help her new people as she settles into her new home, including training for her green collar assessment.
Note that as a purebred greyhound, Shaz is legally required to wear a muzzle in public spaces, and is not permitted off lead in public spaces. Her adopter may apply for a green collar exemption, at their expense, if they wish for Shaz to walk without a muzzle out and about.
Shaz's adoption fee is $100. Shaz is located in Hamley Bridge, SA. If you would like to discuss Shaz's suitability to your home, please call Tegan on 0421 506 482 between 8am and 8pm. Please note that this phone call conversation IS the application process.
*The free consult is only available for adopters in metropolitian Adelaide or the lower north of South Australia.
