About Poko
PURRSONALITY TRAITS
Hi, I am a reserved 2 year old girl who was found as a stray and sadly no one came looking for me! I am shy to start off with so please give me the time and love I need to come out of my shell. I have been in foster care for a few months and my foster carer says I'm still skittish and she still can't get close to me but I have made great progress. Read what she wrote about me:
"Poko is very playful, she loves to play along with her foster brother and toys with bells on them. I don't have a dog or children at the house but I think they may be a bit loud for her liking, although with a slow introduction she might be alright.
I've noticed that she loves to be cosy and often snuggles her way under the blanket covers during the day.
With a lot of love and patience I think she will make a really lovely pet."
I need to be an indoor cat so that my pale features are protected from sun damage. If you have the time and patience for a shy girl like me, please come meet me at my foster home in Bibra Lake.
Health Issues
Poko has a skin condition called Feline Acne or Chin Acne. It is not known what causes her skin reaction, though it is usually mild and manageable. Using stainless steel or ceramic bowls rather than plastic often assists.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
