Tammy is your typical young working dog; energetic, bouncy, out-going cheerful and very loving. She is a very soft dog with the gentlest of natures and responds extremely well to positive, reward-based training. She loves the company of humans and will stay as close to you as possible, sitting on your feet or heeling right beside you when she's being walked. Tammy is very social with other dogs and safe with cats. Her sweet, submissive temperament will make her a good family dog. Although tammy is not a hyperactive dog, she will need regular, daily exercise, so would be best suited for a home where she can enjoy lots of activities with her family, including a nice long walk a day. She is very willing to learn and will enjoy ongoing obedience training to keep her mind active. Tammy has good recall off-lead and walks softly on-lead; she also travels well in the car. Although tammy manages reasonably well alone, she will do better in a home with another dog as a companion or where she has lots of human company. Tammy is currently in foster care in the macedon ranges area. If you are interested in meeting her, please download a copy of our dog adoption questionnaire from our website at http://www.
