About John Boy
Purrsonality Traits
Meow morning!
I am John boy.... My life had a rough start and I have been a wanderer since birth till now (I am 9 months old.. yes still a kitten) until I was found as a stray on a property.
Due to my rough past, I have had slight sun damage to my ears and nose, thankfully I've fully recovered, so no more outdoor life please.
My charisma, gentle nature and my luscious fur which is so fluffy and gorgeous will win your heart.
My foster mum says I take a bit of time to get adjusted to trusting her yet I am still living comfortably with my buddy lady Ms Willow (Foster mum's resident cat) and her human kids who are so gentle and loving. So, I am happy to share the house with other cats and kids but no dogs please.
Now that I am slowly getting better in trusting humans and gaining confidence, I will gracefully accept your pats, scratches and bellyrubs. One day with your patience and love, I will become a lapcat and you will get to see me as a zen soul in a young body.
I am happy, healthy young boy who deserves a second chance of good life. Will I get the forever love home?💖 Come meet me at my foster home in Daglish.
Health Issues
John Boy has sustained long term sun damage to one or both ears, and in some cases the nose as well. This is quite a common issue in cats that have previously spent time outdoors, and the consequences are similar to that of humans who spend too much time in the sun. He has been checked by the Cat Haven veterinarians who decided the changes are so mild that he does not need any treatment at this stage. We recommend that he is kept completely indoors and out of the sun to prevent progression of this condition.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
