About Bosley
Our snuggle bug Bosley is so ready for his forever home ♥️🤞🏽
Photos By: Ruthless Photos
Beautiful Bosley is a 3yr old Mastiff x (breed unknown) who came all the way from QLD. He was originally going to be euthanised in the pounds (came in as a stray), however he has been in a wonderful home since, but he’s now in need of a home that is more suitable for his needs long-term.
Bosley absolutely adores his humans and just loves cuddles, kisses and attention. He LOVES lap cuddles especially. Bosley is a very special boy, he’s vibrant, smart and extremely affectionate. He has also shown that he is good with children also, as he previously lived with a 10 year old who was his best mate. He is quite a big boy, so children over the age of 12yrs or children who are dog savvy would be best. He loves to play and run around, with stuffed toys being one of his favourites.
Bosley is also doing so great with other dogs and had previously lived with a large female dog. Bosley seems to really enjoy being an only dog, but would love to have some doggie cousins who visit often. Since being in training, his confidence has grown immensely around other dog’s. He still gets a little shy, but overtime he will continue getting better. He has shown a different approach towards smaller dogs, which we are still learning about - he seems very inquisitive and overly determined to approach them (seems more like excitement at this stage). We were told he used to get picked on consistently by the neighbours dog who was little, so I’m wondering if this has caused him to be quite fearful towards them. He has been around a 12yr old extra large male and a 1yr old crazy staffy female also and has done really well with them also.
Bosley has been in training with Bear The Dog Behaviourist for the last two weeks and is ready to get back into the big, wide world and find his forever family. Bosley has done so well in training and has shown so much potential.
Bosley is a clingy boy and very much enjoys the company of humans. We have been told by his previous family that he does suffer with some fear of abandonment when left alone, which is why we think it may be best for him to go to a home with people working from home. In saying this, our trainer has also been focusing on this and has introduced methods which will assist Bosley in coping with these situations.
Bosley likes to wake up early, sun bake in the sunshine all day, do some training and a long walk and then as soon as it hits 6-7pm he is passed out asleep until the next morning 🤣 seriously….
Everyone he has met while being in NSW has absolutely fallen in love with him, including us. He really is one of a kind.
Bosley is toilet trained also and will let you know when he needs to go outside to the toilet.
Bosley needs a home with a backyard also as he really does enjoy having a yard to run around in, sun bake in and to sniff any passers by.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals please send through an email to info@acauseforpaws.com.au and request to complete an Adoption Interest Form.
Once the form has been completed, our staff will check over all the information provided to ensure your family is a suitable fit for the animal enquired about. If suitable, we will reach out to organise a date to set up a meet and greet between your family and the animal you are interested in.
We give your family, and our team, as much time as needed to discuss your experience at the meet and greet and decide on whether the animal is going to be the new addition to your family.
A house and yard check is then completed to ensure the space is well suited to the animal.
Adoption fees and all paperwork is then completed and a two week trial will begin. The two week trial is a period of time in which the family and the animal have time to settle in together, and ensure that everything is working out okay. Once the two week trial has come to an end, our team will check in. If everything went okay, then the adoption process is completed!
