Alfie is such a sweetheart, with so much love to give. He loves affection and will snuggle up to his humans or his doggie friends. He adores being around other dogs and has been doing wonderfully living with other dogs while in foster care, especially his foster sister Ruby! He is a very gentle boy, which was something that blew us away when we first collected him. He came into care on the same day as our little Ivy, who was around 4-6wks old at the time. He let her snuggle up to him, chew on him, pester him and wake him up - and everytime he was so gentle and understanding of her size and age it seemed!
Alfie has been doing really well with his toilet training and on leash walking too. He was a little spooked by the bigger doggies, but has since been doing so well at the dog park and has been loving it! He’s been learning his recall skills from his sister Ruby and is improving everyday. He’s an easy going pup, who totally lives for the cuddles.
Alfie loves a snooze and has potential to be a very lazy boy haha! He is super chill. He loves to play also, with other dog’s or his own toys.
He’s also been doing well being introduced to being left home alone for short periods of time, alongside his sister Ruby.
Alfie is such a loving boy who deserves an incredible family who will put time in to spoil him and train him. He’s a squishy little man, who has a big heart of gold, and lots of skin to grow into! He plonks and wobbles around like a baby elephant too lol.
He is expected to get to about 40-60kg.
Alfie would really love a doggie friend to live with, but would also thrive on his own also! He seems to really find comfort in his doggie friends and is doing such a good job in following their lead - training wise.
Alfie is also in need of a house with a backyard as he is expected to be a big boy!
Alfie is currently located in Kensington, NSW.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals please send through an email to info@acauseforpaws.com.au and request to complete an Adoption Interest Form.
Once the form has been completed, our staff will check over all the information provided to ensure your family is a suitable fit for the animal enquired about. If suitable, we will reach out to organise a date to set up a meet and greet between your family and the animal you are interested in.
We give your family, and our team, as much time as needed to discuss your experience at the meet and greet and decide on whether the animal is going to be the new addition to your family.
A house and yard check is then completed to ensure the space is well suited to the animal.
Adoption fees and all paperwork is then completed and a two week trial will begin. The two week trial is a period of time in which the family and the animal have time to settle in together, and ensure that everything is working out okay. Once the two week trial has come to an end, our team will check in. If everything went okay, then the adoption process is completed!
