About Jill Valentine
PURRSONALITY TRAITS
Hola, my name is Jill Valentine. My foster mum called me Jilly for short and sometimes her cute little diva. I'm just over 1 year old. I need to be adopted to a single-cat household and stay indoors only due to my feline coronavirus background - see below!
I was depressed in the shelter and was really scared when I first got picked up by my foster mum. After a few days of bribery and I saw how much love my other foster sister was getting, I went up to foster mum for some pats and started purring like a lion! Foster mum thinks I have FOMO. Then, I got real brave and would not stop seeking attention and asking for permission to explore the house.
I LOVE to play and will give little play bites if you get too rough. Apart from that I love my treats! If you were to shake the bag, I will run to you! I love to sleep in the bed and snuggle next to you or ON you as I have come to realised sleeping on my foster mum is the comfiest thing ever. My foster mum is always amused by me especially when I would try to jump into the shower!
Come and meet me in foster in Atwell and I will be sure to let you know about my favorite toys and treats if you could go slow and be patient with me! J
Health Issues
Jill is suspected of having a condition called Juvenile Gingivitis. This means inflammation of the gums which is painful, and can lead to infections and more severe dental disease. Many cats will grow out of this issue before approximately 2 years of age, however some will have the condition for life.
Jill has been exposed to Feline Coronovirus (FCoV) and has positive titres for this virus. Due to the virus being highly contagious, to limit the spread it is important that this cat remains in a single-cat household, and should be kept indoors. FCoV is spread to other cats via the faecal-oral route. It is important to note that Feline Coronavirus is NOT the same as the human Coronavirus. This virus has been prevalent within cats for many decades and is NOT transmissible to humans.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
