About Cornflake
Take a deep breath and keep Calm Folks because …..
Cornflake is adoption ready.
Please step back from your keyboard and read the whole post because this most beautiful puppy is not all she seems.
Cornflake is a tiny baby just now – She looks just like a pint sized Golden Retriever.
She is chipped as a terrier x.
We do not know if Cornflake is a smaller breed or if she has stunted growth due to incredibly poor nutrition.
What we do know is she not grown at the same rate of all the other pups who arrived at the same time.
To be safe, we will list her as a medium breed and request that any family considering adopting her states clearly they do not have an issue if she grows to 10 or 15 or 20kg.
Cornflake arrived into care very underweight.
Just as she was starting to flourish she became gravely ill with both Gardia and Parvo.
Either of these could have killed a small puppy easily but not this little dynamo..
Our tiny trooper had us worried for a while but here she is .. all fixed up.
Cornflake is super affectionate, loving and friendly.
She gets along with dogs, cats and humans of all sizes.
She is show stoppingly cute and attracts more Ahhhhhs than anyone we know.
BUT – She has earned herself the nickname “Princess” at her foster home.
Cornflake is not a shrinking violet and can be quite vocal with her demands.
Cornflake loves to be loved – a lot .. a real lot.
Too many cuddles is not ever a possibility in Cornflakes world.
She likes good food – her food of choice can change by the hour so a nice wide selection of delicacies is recommended.
Cornflake likes to be on the sofa when you are – in the kitchen when you are – and on the bed when you are.
She does not like to be in any of these areas if you are not there and will let the whole house know of her absolute dismay should this occur.
Cornflake is learning to tolerate hanging at home with her foster brother when no humans are around.
She can be seen snoozing peacefully on the sofa through the window … but makes believe your “neglect” has traumatized her when she spots you.
Nothing a Schmako or Dentasix won’t fix.
We would love to say this little poppet is doing amazingly well with all her training and is eager to please .. we really would love to say that lol.
But we shall say she is doing well (at times she chooses to) and is a diva puppy at all other times.
House training is coming along .. she does well in the day – nightime is still a struggle.
Cornflake is a teeny tiny handful – she has the loveliest nature and is super, super sweet but she is a drama llama and a bit of a bossy boots.
Cornflake needs a family that is experienced with puppies and one who has the time to train her.
She does get under your feel so will not be suited to the infirm or little children and she will not cope left alone for long periods.
Cornflake has a tail deformity – we know not if that is from birth or injury but it does not worry her at all.
She is vaccinated to date, microchipped and flea / worm treated.
He has just retested Parvo Negative so is good to go.
Cornflake is in foster care in Strathpine and her adoption fee is $725.
This includes desexing at our partner vet when she is old enough.
If you think you could be Cornflakes perfect match , please send us a message telling us all about yourself and the life you could offer this gorgeous baby.
Please remember we can only choose a couple of applicants for meets so be sure to sell yourself.
Thank You
