About Zoe
Zoe was one of two skinny and scared dogs that we saved from a NSW pound with minutes to spare.
Her breed is undetermined, but we suspect a there is some Bull Terrier in there – and maybe a dash of cattle or kelpie.
We think she is about 18 months old.
Zoe still has moments of being timid and insecure but also has a cheeky, playful side finally emerging.
She loves her people and each time she sees them she is excited and will jump up and happy dance around.
In the evening she loves to stay close by you and will approach and nuzzle your hand for a pat.
She loves her ears being fondled and leans in for it.
Absolutely great with other dogs, a game of bitey face is always on the cards and zoomies around the back yard are a sure-fire winner.
She seems fine at home during the day as long as she has another dog to keep her company.
Zoe has been sleeping inside in the lounge room in a crate at night and goes to sleep easily at bed time.
When her meal comes out she is all excited and dashes to her feeding spot ready for it, but due to being starved previously she does tend to gobble her food.
A slow feeder bowl would help her.
She has been to a dog park with only her foster brothers there and she loved that so could be up for some adventures in the future as she starts to find her brave.
House training is still a work in progress and going outside alone is still a big fear.
Her forever family will need to spend some time on backyard “pee runs” in the cold evenings as she is afraid to head out at times.
Her lack of confidence still appears when there is something that scares her - loud noises and sudden movements can really spook her.
She needs someone who is kind and patient, who will allow her time to trust.
Once she does, you will fall in love with this sweet, cheeky, sweet, playful and loving girl.
Zoe is vaccinated, microchipped and desexed and is up to date with her flea and worm treatment.
Her adoption fee is $525 and she is foster care at Darra.
If you are interested in a meet and greet with Zoe, please send us a detailed message telling us all about yourself and the life you could offer this special little girl.
Please take the time to sell yourself and let us know why you are a perfect match as we will only be arranging a couple of meets at this stage and it will be based on best match.
Thank You so much for understanding this.
