About Sally
Sally is a gorgeous and loving homebody who suffers severe anxiety due to her past. While it might take a while to earn her trust, once she’s comfortable in her home and with her people, she adores being with you.
You MUST have:
1. A social dog in the home already
2. A secure yard that is private
3. Live within 4hrs travel of Grafton
4. Be willing to do multiple meet and greets
5. Work with a behaviour vet
Your dog social dog in the home will be her key companion and the way she explores and learns about the world. They must enjoy being close with other dogs, touched and leaned on and played with.
Sally is a puppy farm dog who missed out on crucial socialization as a puppy and consequently she has some sever social anxiety with people. She is looking for a quiet home with low social expectations. Initially, this is likely to mean just getting brave at home. She will likely never enjoy high traffic areas like dog parks of cafe outings or even walks down a busy street.
She takes medication for her anxiety and her new family will need the support of a behaviour vet.
Medical notes
Sally takes behaviour medication for anxiety. It’s possible she may need to take medication for the rest of her life, but working with a behaviour vet will be necessary for Sally and her new family.
Adoption details
Sally will require multiple meet and greets with her family at her current home and theirs, therefore she will only be available for adoption to interested parties within 4 hours driving distance of Grafton Nsw.
You must have a social and tolerant dog already in the home and no children under 12yrs.
Sally is NOT a highly social dog. She does best when her world is kept fairly small, so a home with a low social expectation is important (no cafes, dog parks, busy public areas or markets for this poppet!)
