About Gardenia
Hi, I' m Gardenia, a beautiful but shy 1 year-old lady. I came to Cat Haven as a stray and haven't had much contact to humans before. I am slowly learning to trust humans and I realised quickly that a life as a house cat isn't too bad. I get a lot of creamy treats from my foster mum, I love them and you can definitely gain my trust with that. I made a lot of progress in the last couple of days, I now let my foster mum pat me and I like it, I sound like a little purr machine after a few minutes of pats.
I love to play, especially at night when no one is around but I also started to play with my foster mum, she has a stick with feather on it which I like very much.
Although I haven't interacted with my foster siblings much yet, I am very interested and friendly towards them so I think a forever home with another cat who can give me some confidence would be perfect. I am still very shy and will stay in my safe places when humans are around but I promise you, with a lot of time, patience and love I will become a pretty and confident little girl. Are you willing to give me all the time I need to settle in to my forever home? Then meet me at my foster home in West Perth!
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
