About Coco
PURSONALITY TRAITS
Bonjour, je m'appelle Coco.
Although I may look young and spritely, I'm a kind-hearted and mature mademoiselle. My human friends adore me and say I'm as beautiful as the Paris night sky, they give me lots of scratches that I can't resist.
I've just had my 15th Birthday. It would be so lovely to get comfortable in my new home to have my next birthday and see out my later years. I speak a few languages, French Spanish and English to name a few but I've never tried to speak Dog so if you will introduce me, do it slowly as I will be quite scared to start with.
I am a little shy but with a little time and lots of yummy food I am sure to cuddle at all times of the day and night.
I'm looking for a relaxed home where I can feel right at home on the bed, couch or anywhere in between. Please come and meet me at my foster home in Cottesloe.
Health Issues
Coco has a heart murmur. The murmur has been assessed by Cat Haven veterinary staff as mild (grade three or less) and not likely to cause any adverse effects on her health. She also has a skin condition which has caused severe hair loss and itching in the past skin reaction. It is not known what causes her skin reaction, therefore it is important that you use a variety of preventative measures.
Coco has tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). FIV is a retrovirus that can compromise the immune system, spread by fighting and deep penetrating wounds. She should lead a normal life despite this diagnosis, but there are a few special considerations that need to be made in regards to her health and well-being long term. These include being an inside only cat; slow and careful introduction to other cats; and annual vaccinations and health checks.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
