About Maxxi ~(On Trial 22/09/21)
Maxxi is an 11 month old, male, German Short Haired Pointer X. He is an adventurous, active bundle of fun. Maxxi enjoys off-leash activity preferably twice per day and loves introducing himself to any human or dog that he sees.
Maxxi is well trained and sits when asked and is great on a lead. He is also house trained and is great in the house when humans are with him. He is a very strong dog and requires a confident person to guide him. Once Maxxi has had his morning gallop, he loves nothing more than lounging and being a couch potato until someone picks up the lead again. He is happiest when out in the open and exploring and would love a family with a large backyard.
Maxxi’s love for human’s is also a bit of a issue. Maxxi does get quite anxious when not sitting with (or on) his human counterpart and can get upset when he cannot see his humans. He would be suited to a home where someone is at home working and his anxiety would be lessened if there was another dog for company.
Maxxi is an adorable dog and still in his puppy phase. He would really love to have a dog friend to share in the fun.
Maxxi is an assisted adoption and will stay with his owner until his new home is found. His new family will need to be experienced with this breed and be prepared to cater for his high energy needs. He will not be suitable for a home with young children due to his boisterous, protective nature. He is also best suited to a home without cats or birds.
If you would like any more information please email wendygermon@yahoo.com.au or complete an adoption application. Maxxi is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped.
Maxxi is located in Newcastle, NSW. His adoption fee is $500 and all his vet work is up to date.
Medical notes
Healthy and up to date with vaccinations.
