About Cadi
SPECIAL PET ALERT - Introducing “Cadi” a 7 year old female ridgeback cross. Cadi was adopted from the AWL in 2014 when she was a puppy. Her current owner is needing to rehome her as they are constructing apartments next to his home and he has lost his backyard to development and Cadi is not coping being outside while the works are going on. Cadi is EXTREMELY storm phobic and terrified of fireworks so much so that she injured herself quite badly resulting in facial reconstruction surgery - this incident was before she was medicated. She is currently medicated daily but in the right environment she would be able to wean off of daily meds she would still however require medication prior to a known event such as a predicted thunder storm or fireworks show. Cadi needs to be an only pet she doesn’t like other animals . She is house trained and allowed both inside and out and currently sleeps outside in a kennel. She travels well in the car. She is a real snuggle bug and wants to be petted, cuddled and held she would happily take it all day if you would give it to her. She is desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. Adoption fee $400
Medical notes
Currently on medication for anxiety, however we believe that in the correct environment Cadi will be able to be weaned off daily medication.
Adoption details
If you are interested in one of our dogs please phone or send an email to rescue@btcanimalshelter.com.au and we will reply as soon as possible.
A questionnaire will need to be completed which will allow us to ensure we are placing our animals into the right home. Please note that completing the questionnaire does not place you under any obligation to adopt. If we think you might be a good match, we can arrange a meet and greet for you (and existing pets) to spend some time with the dog and see if they are likely to fit into your life.
If you decide to adopt, payment is made and you can welcome your new dog into your life!
We offer a 2 week trial period.
