About Banjo
I am Banjo, a big silly pupper with so much affection & I am ready to be adopted by my perfect family who I just can’t wait to meet.
Banjo has been very patient and learning some really good behaviour whilst waiting for his forever home to come along.
It finally feels like it is time.
Since coming to live with foster mum Maddie and dad Bryce, Banjo has adapted and fit in well.
Banjo loves the company of his foster brother Charlie and has been learning how to play nicely and not to annoy his brother too much.
The boys love to play tug of war and having toy bones and items around the yard/house help Banjo to play gently.
Banjo would benefit from another dog in the house medium / large who can be firm and continue to teach him boundaries and gentle play.
Banjo did have some anxieties prior to coming to this foster home, however he has adapted well with his foster brother and is not fussed when the humans head out for the day.
He will happily spend the day with his Foster brother in the yard.
Even the washing stays on the line!
He gets very excited when the humans arrive home from work and can jump very high, but it is just with excitement to see you.
When the humans are home, Banjo will happily relax & just be with you.
He loves a good snuggle on the couch & has such a sweet and affectionate side.
Banjo is still learning some basics & would like someone who has time to continue to teach him.
He loves food & is easily trained with treats as reward.
He can get scared when he thinks he is in trouble and will opt to run away from you so he will need a softer approach to teach him.
Whilst Banjo shares the laundry with foster brother Charlie to sleep of a night & is happy to share toys, he does not share his dinner as well and will need to be fed separately from any brothers / sisters.
Banjo loves going for walks and is great on a lead, he likes to stop and say hello to all other doggies & is a friendly dog.
He is also friendly at doggy parks.
Banjo loves the beach & going for runs off leash, however is still learning recall.
Banjo really is a delightful, cheeky and happy pupper to have around.
He would love to fit into a family who can continue to teach him and help him grow into the amazing doggo he is meant to be.
Banjo is not a fan of cats but is good with children 😊
His foster Mumma, Dadda and his foster brother Charlie will miss him tremendously.
Banjo is about a year old and is registered as a Wolfhound x
He is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated to date and is up to date with his flea/ tick/ worm treatments.
Hi adoption fee is $495 and he is in foster care at Warana
