About Hunter
Hi, My name is Hunter and I am a beautiful, 2 year old young man. My foster mum says I am such a pretty boy but is this a surprise?! Just look at me, I am completely white, just like a snowflake, and my eyes are special too, one is green and one is blue.
I fought for my life on the street for a couple years before I arrived at Cat Haven as a stray and I am so glad I can enjoy the life as house cat now. I am quite shy at the beginning because I haven't had much contact to humans before and the life as a house cat is very different to the rough street life. But shortly after moving into my foster home, I realised that humans aren't as scary as I thought they would. They give me a lot of food and pats which I quiet enjoy! Every time my foster mum gives me chin scratches or back rubs, I start to knead to show her how much I like it. However, I can be still very skittish around humans and in my new environment so I need a patient and understanding forever home.
My foster mum says I can be quite vocal sometimes, but don't worry I am definitely not the annoying kind, I just give a little meow so everyone knows I want attention or will let know when I dislike stuff. I am very interested in my foster brother, however, we don't get along very well so I am not sure whether I want to live with another cat, I might be better off living by myself because I can be quite dominant.
I need a strict indoor home to protect my beautiful pale skin from the sun and also to keep me healthy because I am a FIV+ boy. It's not as scary as you think, I can live a long and happy life as long as you keep me inside and keep my vaccinations and health checks up to date. I think I would do well in a home without young kids and with patient and loving parents. I might need a couple of weeks to settle into my forever home but I promise you, I will be a big smooch in no time.
Meet me in my foster home in West Perth.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
