About Axle
Foster required or foster to adopt.
Meet Axle, a male Labrador x Akita who is almost 4 years of age.
Axle is seeking a new home through no fault of his own and has lived with his current owner since an 8 week old pup.
Axle can be a little hesitant upon a first meeting with a male but will soon warm up (he has lived in a household with a male and was fine).
Axle is a great all rounder. He is good with children and with other dogs, loves his car rides and his exercise. He adores being fussed over and played with, that makes his day!
Axle has not been tested with cats nor pocket pets or poultry.
Axle is an indoor/ outdoor dog.
Axle has not been desexed however once he comes into care that will be done.
Please note that if you are interested in fostering Axle;
You will need to live in the southern suburbs of Adelaide
Have no cats, pocket pets or poultry
Be able to provide Axle with stimulation and regular active exercise
Be able to show Axle attention and affection
If you have another dog that dog must be desexed
Be prepared to have Axle desexed whilst in your care (all costs paid for by BTC)
Please do not enquire about Axle if you cannot meet those requirements.
As stated, we are open to a foster to adopt situation for Axle and this would be our preference.
BTC will supply all of Axle’s needs and we cannot say how long we will need a foster for as that depends upon waiting for his new family to turn up and that is something we will not rush as it is all about finding the best home possible for Axle.
Adoption details
If you are interested in one of our animals please phone or send an email to rescue@btcanimalshelter.com.au and we will reply as soon as possible.
A questionnaire will need to be completed which will allow us to ensure we are placing our animals into the right home. Once the completed questionnaire is received, we will respond by email / phone call to discuss the animal in further detail, and answer any other questions you may have. Please note that completing the questionnaire does not place you under any obligation to adopt. We can arrange a meet and greet for you (and existing pets) to spend some time with the pet and see if they are likely to fit into your life.
If you decide to adopt, payment is made and you can welcome your new pet into your life!
We offer a 2 week trial period.
