About Axel
A BIT ABOUT ME:
Hello! My name is Axel! I’m a Wolfhound x Greyhound mix and I'm looking for my forever home! I am a perfect, beautiful boy with a happy, loving nature. I am very well behaved and have tonnes of unconditional love ready to give and I am desperately searching for my special human that can give me just as much love in return.
WHAT TYPE OF HOME AM I LOOKING FOR?:
Honestly, I think I would fit in to any type of home, whether it be with someone on their own, or a family with kids. I just desperately want to be part of someone’s family because I have been at the shelter for a VERY LONG TIME, and I just want to be the center of someone’s world!
VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT ME:
The biggest thing you need to know about me, is that I am absolutely TERRIFIED of storms – even the smell of a storm in the air makes me extremely anxious. During those times, I need to go into my safe space (a special crate designed just for this reason) and I need to take my medication to help keep me calm, as I get very scared. Because of this, I really need to find someone who is home most of the time and if you aren’t home you will need to be close by and able to rush home to assist me during those scary times. Someone who can stay on top of the current weather updates is something I need. In every other way, I am an amazing boy, but understand that my search for the perfect human is a hard one.
FENCING:
I will need a perfect fence at least 6ft high
OTHER PETS:
Although I would be happy being your only dog, I would possibly be open to a friendly female doggy companion. I haven’t met those other furry friends called cats, so I’m not sure how that would go, although I’m willing to try if you have a good plan for our introduction.
If you give me the chance to prove myself, I know we could be very happy together!!
Medical notes
On medication for anxiety
