The rumours are true - the charming Rosie is still on the market!
I am not sure how I ended up without a family. I have been taken care of by foster families, but I am still dreaming of my forever home.
I am a bit shy at first, and it takes me some time to become comfortable when I am with new humans. It takes me few days until I will show my true personality, so you may need a bit of patience.
Let me tell you a little bit about myself...
I am a food lover, definitely not a picky eater and very well trained to wait for my food. I know all my basic commands, and I am a fast learner. My foster family says I am easily trainable for the right treat. Practice makes perfect, right?
I am always hunting for snuggles and cuddles. I like to be comfortable and occasionally I may push the boundaries to jump on your bed. But let’s be honest, once you know how excellent a sleeping buddy I am, you may have difficulties telling me to go back to my bed.
I prefer when my humans are at home (who doesn’t), but when I am alone I like to listen to good background music (Spotify has a few of good playlists to keep a doggo calm). You can also turn the tv on, so I may watch some documentary or a Netflix series.
My foster parents say that I am good with cats, bush turkeys and horses, so I’m willing to give them a go. I also love being surrounded by kids so I can get the chance to play with them. If the kids are not around, I can still play with my toys.
I am versatile; I can be either a very curious explorer or a couch potato. Most likely when you sleep, I sleep; when you go somewhere, I want to go as well; when you eat, I watch you eat; when you work, I still sleep; when you are excited, I am excited too; and when you love me, I love you back even more.
I love to be sunbathing and I would enjoy a bit of backyard or balcony where I can roast my belly, but this is not a deal breaker. I am just as comfortable on your sofa (P.S. I can also show you some down dog yoga poses).
I can be reactive towards other dogs, but I think with some training and care I can work on that.
I am ready when you are! The most important thing is that I am very lovable.
Medical notes
Rosie is currently on a slow-kill heartworm eradication program that involves monthly medication. All medication and medical costs related to her heartworm eradication are covered by Precious Paws.
