About Skitty
I'm pretty shy around people, but the cats at my foster home showed me how to safely snuggle up with my foster mum and it's kind of nice, even if it is too hot right now.
I'm not very good at introducing myself, so I'll need to meet your cats slowly and under careful supervision. I like to pounce on my new friends and hiss and play wrestling games, but sometimes they don't know I'm playing at first. At my last foster home I tried to make friends too fast and it all ended badly. It's much nicer here where one of the other cats washes the back of my head for me and often curls up with me for a snooze.
I still get a bit scared when my foster mum tries to touch me when she's standing up, but I like it when she's sitting or lying down so that she's not so big. When she rubs my ears it feels almost as good as when the other cats wash them for me.
I'd like to live in a quiet home with someone who can take the time to let me get to know them slowly and who'll make sure I don't ruin my relationship with the other cats by leaping in too fast. If you have a cat who is used to living with other cats and who is willing to demonstrate that you're safe to sit on then after you introduce me to them they can introduce me to you and we can all curl up on the bed together at night.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
