About Annie
Annie is a sweet girl, who had some puppies a few years ago and it's now her turn to find her couch. She LOVES toys and will steal them all and hide them in her favourite places... Annie is a bit of a bowerbird and may steal some other items too, so we think she may be best suited to a home where everyone is old enough to remember not to leave things within her reach.
Annie loves children and is so gentle on walks, that one of our volunteers 9yr old can walk her with no worries. Half the time on our walks Annie will often miss any critters that scurry in front of us or will often trip over another hound because she is in her own little world.
Annie is looking for a home with no cats, and a calm smaller dog or a medium to larger dog.

We will require a return contact email/ phone number to discuss with you the options of adopting or fostering a Greyhound.
You will need to complete an application form, then a home visit will be conducted to meet the family and any other pets you may have. We will match you with a hound we think is suitable (or check the suitability of a dog you like) & arrange a meet and greet. The meet and greet MAY be conducted at the time of the home visit, however this will be discussed with each family.
Once a successful meet & greet has been completed, you will sign the adoption paperwork and the adoption fee will be paid. There is a 2wk trial period, so if for any reason in the next 2wks the adoption does not go ahead, the hound will come back into care and your adoption fee will be refunded or you can be matched with a new hound.
**Payment plans may be available, but you will need to discuss this with us prior to the signing of the adoption paperwork.
