Delicious is quite a sensitive ferret, who has sadly been flicked hard on the nose whenever she played up and for 2yrs while still intact made to live with her then intact brother Viscious. She is terrified of bigger dogs and will get so worked up she latch bites, this is because she was kept in a outside wooden hutch with no feeling of saftey.
It is unknown if she had any litters or whether dad/brother killed them. But now she's Desexed that is no longer a worry, Viscious has calmed too with Desexing and will guard her with his life. She is not suitable for a free range home as being on ground level makes her very high strung and nervous around people, often triggering her to bolt in fear to hide. Viscious immediately looks to defend her when she gets spooky or shy and may warn with dooking.
It has been a long road to get both these guys ok with hands and they are unsuitable for a beginner or someone who uses force to 'train' their ferrets. They still can get better with people, it will just need to be a kind and understanding home without too much noise or kids.
Adoption details
The raw food mix thier on contains:
Chicken carcass mince
Budget beef mince (which has organs)
Roo chunks
Beef chunks
Heart or tongue chunks
Wing tips for dental hygiene
Both are ok whole prey, so if you'd like to adopt then a similar or same balanced raw diet must be adhered too.
NO Ferret Origins, it is a slow painful death sentence that doesn't show till old age and neither are currently interested in Ziwipeaks.
