Ace is a lab cross : possibly border collie or Huntaway (which would account for his size).
We have no background or history, he was picked up by Rangers and we saved him from a New South Wales country pound.
Ace has had some basic training : he knows to sit and he'll shake hands. He has had some work on a lead although he can pull a bit when you first set off .
In the pound situation he was quite fearful of men but he seems quite fine now.
A home experience with medium sized dogs, that can provide encouragement and ongoing training ,with a securely fenced yard and grass area for Ace to have a morning rump would be most suitable.
When tested on onlead with other dogs Ace has tried to instigate play but he hasn't been in a situation loose in a backyard with other dogs.
Untested with cats. No children under 12yrs please.
