Hi, my name is Hopscotch and I am an energetic boy. Not yet desexed so keep me away from any female rabbits. Who am I? My foster mum described me as being a cat in a rabbit body. I like playing with my cat siblings in the house joining them in their zoomies and play time. I love adventures and hence try to break out of my enclosures so I can explore the whole yard. I have three different enclosures both inside and outside which I enjoy depending on the weather. I am slowly getting litter trained so I can be a free roaming indoor rabbit. Food wise I love my fruit and veggies but not too sure about these things called banana. I am active and like to run around for a good 5 h per day but once done I am happy to just relax close to you. I have not been around kids but my foster mum thinks I will adjust just fine to them. Oh and no interaction with dogs either so far. Mum gives me a shower from time to time and I enjoy that. So, if you are looking for a cruisy dude then I am your man! A bonus is that I will come with my enclosures, feed and other toys. I'm also getting a professional photoshoot done soon so you'll be able to see how gorgeous I really am!
Want to know how to keep a bunny happy? We rabbits need a calm, stress free environment, so suit adult owners or gentle children. We like to spend most of their time with our Loved Ones, with just a bit of outside time if it's good weather. We don't cope well with heat, so when it's hot, keep me inside with the air conditioner on. A healthy rabbit diet includes good quality hay, vegetables, leafy greens, fruit, seeds, roots and herbs. I'll love it if you build playground tunnels with different levels to jump on, hide away and dig in, especially if you change it around from time to time. Sticks and bark are great to chew on. It's important for me to have at least four hours a day to roam freely around the house or bunny secured yard.
I CAN FLY TO PERTH!
Flying for a few hours is very important for animals in remote locations because it gives us the opportunity to be adopted. Talk to SAFE about flying me to you in Perth.
