About Royce
This is Royce. He is about 1 and a half years old and always looks stylish in his furry tuxedo. He came to Cat Haven as a stray and was very scared at the shelter so was sent to a foster home in Currambine to help him get used to living with humans.
Royce is a cute and cheeky gentleman who is shy around strangers and new people, but is quite a smoochy boy with the human he lives with. He currently spends the days on his own and comes out to say hello and demands pats when his human get home from work. Royce loves watching the world go by outside the window, and appreciates having the curtain left a little open at night so he can watch 24/7. He gets plenty of exercise indoors playing with his fake mice and ping pong balls - which he makes zoom all around the house. With the weather warming up, Royce has proven to be an excellent insect catcher, and will catch (and eat!) any fly or moth that dares come inside the house.
Royce enjoys evening smooches with his human, and behaves like a wiggly worm when getting pats on a lap, until he settles down for a nap. He often follows the human around to see what they are up to, especially when they are in the kitchen - he knows where food comes from.
Royce would very much benefit from living with adults or a family with children who are able to be a bit patient with him, as it may take a while to come out of his shell with new people.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
