About Vixen
Vixen, the Queen of our litter of kittens! Vixen is still only a baby herself but was forced to grow up fast when she had to raise the kittens. Now most of her kittens have moved onto their forever homes and it’s time for Vixen to finally find a family to adore her.
Although very playful, she is also a very calm and relaxed young cat, very much an Old Soul. We think she would be the perfect cat for an older person or couple looking for an easy going cat to share their retirement with.
Coming into care with her 6 kittens when she was still only a baby herself, Vixen has already had a hard life.
Raising at least Two litters, we suspect she may have had another litter prior. Thankfully she came into care and we were able to stop her having to go through that again and it is amazing to see the change. After raising her babies and being the perfect mum, she has taken this opportunity to be the kitten she never got a chance to be.
She is happy, playful, and full of energy, if you are looking for a young calm yet playful cat but don’t want to go through the challenges of having a kitten around, Vixen might be the one for you. With her beautiful long, slender looks we think she must be part Oriental.
Previously left to her own devices outdoors, she has taken to indoor life like a duck to water. Sharing the couch, the bed, watching us cook...never shy about asking for a tasty morsel.
Although Vixen was a great Mum, she is loving single life, and has become the kitten she never got a chance to be.
Crate trained, litter trained, Vixen really is the perfect cat however after having to protect her babies from all the dangers in the world she has not yet warmed to other animals. She doesn’t like other cats (except for her own babies) and is cautious around dogs.
Vixen’s ideal home would be one in which she is centre of her humans world. She would be happy to share her new home with one of her kittens, if her new owners wanted a pair.
If you think you could offer Vixen the kind of life she deserves please fill out the adoption questionnaire below and we will be in touch.
