About Chino
Chino is a friendly active boy. Our trainer says "A lovely calm dog that seems to take everything in his stride. Friendly with kids and adults. Best with kids 10+yo.
Out walking he is strong on lead and pulls. He is reactive toward other dogs but really likes a run and a cuddle!
Walkers say "Lovely dog. Calm with people but a bit excited once he sees other dogs." “Lovely dog, pulls a lot. Needs a strong person” "Pulled on lead but settled down after ½ hour. Barked at dogs but not really aggressive." "Barked at other dogs when they initiated. Loves humans. Plays nicely. Very strong, loves water" He has a smooth coat and weighs about 30kg.
Garden: Needs a home that has more space as well as a garden for exercise and regular walks outside.
Suit Part Time Worker: Copes alone for short periods, with training possibly longer but presently does need someone home part of the time.
Good with Kids: Shown to be good with kids in the controlled environment of the Shelter.
Medical notes
He comes desexed, C5 vaccinated, heartworm free and microchipped. Also included for the love and health of our dogs is a free Health and Wellness Voucher with our DR Vet.
Adoption details
DoggieRescue is a charitable organisation and as such we rely very much on volunteers to manage our adoptions. We answer initial adoption enquiries by email or phone and then arrange an appointment for you to meet some of our rescue dogs.
At DoggieRescue we believe our dogs deserve to find that special someone who will love them and look after them forever. We know that there are homes out there that are willing to accommodate one more little member of the family and dedicate time to their well being.
