About Fred
Fred is quite a big boy at around 5-6kg. He loves his outside time, he prefers to toilet outside but will use the litter box if he has too. He has become used to walking around a small outside area on his harness but is not used to walking a lot further yet.
Fred can be described as an independent cat with “cattitude” , he is confident and curious, he likes his own space, he will follow you around and watch what you are doing but he is not much of a lap cat.
He will happily sleep on your bed once he’s settled or beside you on the lounge. He does like a pat and will brush up against you to show affection.
His favourite hobby is to sit high on his cat tree and look out the window. He is not overly playful but does have a few favourite toys he plays with. He also likes getting kibble out of his Kong toy.
Fred can be a bit vocal and if he’s nervous he might nip or swat occasionally but this is improving over time.
He needs to be an only pet as he is a bit scared of dogs and other cats. The home needs to be quiet, without children.
The best home for Fred would be one where he can be an indoor/outdoor cat in a safe environment or where he has access to a suitably cat safe enclosed outdoor area.
