About Chucki/chonky
I have been surrendered as my owner could no longer look after me. I'm a shy lady who needs a quiet home to settle into.
I love to sleep all day, and up all night, a night-owl kinda pawrent(s) would suit me best and please no young kids.
You will find me very quiet, hardly meowed except when I want food. I love ear scratches, back scatches and when you brush my coat till it shines.
I was very scared at first and hid under the sofa alot, but now I am loveable and like to roam the house, sit on the windowsill, pondering about life!
My favourite thing to do is sleep. I am 8 and I can't help it.
I like to poop on the floor next to the litter tray (not in some random rooms, always in the same room as my litter tray).
In my defence, it is easier for you to clean-up. Just throw it in the toilet and clean the floor-no messing about the tray.
Feels like a challenge? Then you can adopt me and teach me how to poop correctly in the tray!
I do not scratch furniture, I use the doormat instead. I dislike the vacuum cleaner very much.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
