Milo was first spotted living behind apartment blocks and was found in an extremely malnourished state, where he was so weak he was unable to move, and was saturated in his own urine. Due to his weakness, Milo stopped grooming himself. Milo was not eating well due to a blocked nasal passage, as well as barely having any teeth.
After being rescued by three wonderful women, Milo has slowly started to recover, and now has a big appetite and is litter box trained. He is slowly grooming himself again which is a great sign that he is on the mend and is feeling better.
Milo has proved to be such a sweet, gentle soul. He loves to chat and tell you about his day when you come home from work. He loves to rub his head on your legs to tell you that he misses you or that he is hungry. He is very calm and enjoys being patted and purrs in appreciation.
Unfortunately Milo has FELV which means not only can he not be homed with other cats, he may have a shorter lifespan than most cats. Only time will tell however.
If you would like to be part of Milo's journey to recovery or to offer him a home, please contact us. He is currently located in Condell Park, NSW.
Medical notes
Milo does not have many teeth and will need to remain on soft food. Additionally he has FELV which means he may have a shorter lifespan. He would not be suitable in a home with other cats (other pets is fine).
