About Nancy
Hello, I'm Nancy! I'm a very shy cutie that was adopted a few months ago but sadly surrendered due to my owner having too many cats and not being able to spend dedicated time with me! Please go very slow with me and show me love and patience!
Hi there, my name is Nancy. I am a lovely young 3 year old tabby and torti gal.
I was living with another family with cats, but being shy and timid, the owners decided it would better for me to find another home suited to me.
When I arrived at my foster mum's house, I was quick to have a look around. I am now enjoying life around the house.
I love to sit in the front window and enjoy the sun. I am now brave and will sit in the office with foster mum and enjoy the sun on the window sill. I was a little shy at first and would run away when foster mum tried to pat me.
The heated cat bed on the floor in my foster mum's bedroom is just divine, I am such a lucky girl and feel secure and loved.
I am happy to come and see you during the day, but I don't have to be around you all day.
In the evening I love watching TV with foster mum. I sit next to the chair and enjoy head pats and more pats. I will roll over on my back enjoying the experience.
I also like to sit on the large foot stool and enjoy some pats. In fact if I think it is getting late in the evening, I will go up to foster mum in her office and let her know that it is time to stop working and to come down stairs. I will roll round on the carpet and miaow softy softly.
In terms of food, I love my food and am not fussy. Foster mum adds extra water to my wet food as I am not that fond of water. I do like cat milk though. My litter habits are immaculate.
Sometimes I do give a little "love bite" at the start, during or at the end of pats. Don't worry it doesn't hurt at all.
I am now feeling more confident and like to play - I like pens, pegs, toy mice.
Please come and meet me in my foster home in Yokine
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
