Max loves people and is a very confident, super friendly boy.
Max was rescued in early November. We think he was an abandoned little boy who was hanging around a townhouse complex and whilst being fed by some of the residents none were willing to commit to owning him. Well, it is all onwards and upwards for this handsome friendly boy as he has a wonderful guardian Zoe who is his independent carer. It was a joint effort arranging for his vet work to be done. So now he's in great hands with all of us to ensure his future will be in a home with responsible loving humans.
Zoe messaged me to say "Please mention how super friendly he is. He loves being petted and one of the friendliest cats. He loves people, and willing to let almost anyone pet him. Warms up quickly to everyone. His favourite toy is his green turtle"
As you will see from the photos and videos Max loves to play with laser pointers and other toys. He's a very chatty boy and loves humans. Check out the gorgeous video of him trilling to Zoe. Did you know that trilling is another way a cat expresses affection and happiness? He gets absolute pleasure out of lots of chin and head rubs.
We think this boy would be suitable for several types of homes right through from a single person, a couple, or a busy family.
Medical notes
Max is a rescue cat with no known medical issues. He is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated F3 (first vaccination), flea and worm treated. He will need to be life-time registered with the local council. Max was also viral tested for FIV/FeLV and is negative.
We want to make it simple. So this is the process:
(1) You contact us.
(2) We contact you. I'd be happy to have a phone conversation with you.
(3) You complete our adoption inquiry form and ideally due to restrictions with COVID provide us photos and ideally a video walk-through of your home to speed up the process because normally a home inspection is
(4) You meet the Cat.
(5) Subject to Cat Committee approval (plus a modest adoption fee), you adopt the Cat.
It is important to us that both you and the Cat are happy with the adoption decision. As part of the adoption process we set-up an adoption trial.
