Hello, my name is Affogato but my foster mum has been calling me Lady Bean (or just Bean for short), not that it really matters, because I do not react to my name anyways. I am almost 5 years old and a very very beautiful lady if I may say so myself and do expect to be treated with the respect a lady deserves.
I am not one for cuddles, especially not during the day but I do love scratches behind the ear at bed time and love sleeping in the bed with you. That's when I really come out of my shell and show you my love. Things have to happen on my terms as I am already an adult and don't like changing my habits. You can gain my appreciation through lots of treats (especially those creamy ones).
My favourite activity to do with humans is reading. I love being read to, I find it very relaxing and it's a great way to get used to your voice. I am not bitey or scratchy, however I will hiss at you if I'm uncomfortable (my foster mum tends to ignore my hisses and pat me anyways) I will usually act like I don't enjoy it but we both know that's a lie. I was adopted from Cat Haven as a little kitten but has sadly found my way back into the shelter as my previous owner has become unwell. I have lived with another cat before so I could potentially do so again provided I get a slow introduction, however, I live with a cat currently and find him very annoying!

I think I would do very well in a quiet household - I am not sure about children yet as I haven't met any, but if they leave me in peace I'm sure I could get used to them.
