About Bones
☠💀 BONES 💀☠
Introducing the cutest goofball, Bones ❤ who is ready to find his furever home.
Bones is very popular, please read his profile in full before applying 😊
Bones is a beautiful boy whose fur is as fluffy as a cloud. He is very sweet and loves human affection 🥰 He is often "off with the fairies" during his training (well just nearly always) 🤣 but follows lead of the other dogs well, he knows most of his basic training, he is also crate trained and has started his lead training 😍 Bones is such a snuggle monster, he is the first one to come for cuddles 🥰
This boy unfortunately will not do well as an only dog, he needs a home with another confident, well adjusted dog to teach him all of the amazing things dogs can do 💕 He is very high energy, so needs to be a dog willing to play and run around with him. Old dogs may not appreciate his energy and lack of personal space 🤣
Bones is great with kids! Loves following them around seeing what they are doing, chasing them around in the yard 😊 he is quite the playful boy, loves to chase the soccer ball around, play with sticks and any toy really. It's all fun! He has the chase down pat, not so much the fetch and return 🤣
He would looove a big yard to be able to spread his legs and do zoomies in. He loves to go for his walks, and can't wait until his next vaccination so he can explore more places. He will need to continue his confidence building, to learn to brave things on his own 💖
Bones looooves his food, he is on a balanced raw diet, he would benefit continuing this diet 😊 he will need a home willing to be a bit strict on his food intake, he actually came to us on the heavier side. At first we thought he just had a distended tummy from worms or something, but after treatments and investigation nothing was seen to be the cause UNTIL we noticed he was starting to "slim" down as his foster mum is quite conscious about food intake and appropriate exercise for their age. His tummy is no longer round and firm, he has a normal kissable tum now 🥰
Bones loves all dogs big and small, though as mentioned earlier needs to continue his confidence building as he sometimes becomes fearful and will bark aggressively at a new dog (yep, that is correct puppies can have these behaviours as young as Bones) 😊 he is doing well and will continue to thrive in a home willing to continue putting in these important foundations to help him become a well adjusted adult 💖
Bones hasn't had too close of contact with cats, he has met some kittens and ended up barking at those strange little creatures 🤣 however we believe Bones will adjust to a dog-savvy adult cat in time 💕
This boy is super cute and super cuddly, so it's easy to forget to give him some down time. Currently Bones does really well having a "crate break" once a day from the other puppies/dogs and humans. He will happily munch on a stuffed kong, bone etc.. during this time 😊 he resets himself and doesn't become overstimulated.
Bones is an active boy and energetic, he would love a home that will make him apart of their family and take him on many adventures 🥰
If you would like to meet Bones, please message for an application 💝

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST NOT be taken on the day unless PRIOR APPROVAL seeked, we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 14 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your email within 72 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
