About Dallas and Nova
Helloooooo to all awesome people out there! Are you ready? Are you ready to take on two awesome Siberian Huskies (myself – Dallas and that furball best friend of mine, Nova)? We’ve been together since we were puppies. Well, since puppy aged! At 4 years old – we’re definitely still puppies! We’ve been trained to walk nice – but don’t worry, we can still put you to the test. We’re house-trained, we’re sassy, we talk back and, like most of our breed, we are also human-deaf at times – in both ears hahahaha. But, we love cuddles, we’re good around small children and we love LOVE our humans.
Unfortunately, we cannot remain at our home due to unique circumstances. But, we really really really want to stay together. We’re just not the same without each other!
If you are looking for a ready-made household of two dogs, well, you found us. That is, if you can handle one small condition. You see, even though my current human, and the little humans (aged 6 and 4) are not able to continue the care we need – they would like to stay in touch with us. The Rescue Coordinator will explain further about this. Please believe us, that this is a special circumstance. If our humans could keep us with them… they would.
Therefore, we’re looking for not just the perfect home, we’re also looking for human(s) that have huge hearts to accept my current humans in our lives, occasionally (not everyday – maybe not even every week). Is this you? Would you like to know more? Please contact the Rescue Coordinator at Happy Huskies. She would love to hear from you if you think you’d be the right fit for us to be adopted into your beautiful home! Contact her at support@happyhuskies.org.au
We come with a warning though 😊. Like all Siberian Huskies – Please make sure your fencing is high and undiggable – oh, and no pocket pets please or farm pets…. we … well.. we probably can’t be trusted around these animals – just like our other Siberian cohorts – we do have a natural prey drive.
A tidbit about Dallas (black and white)
-------------------------
Something special about me. You are going to love this! But I will stumble over my own paws to get to cucumber. Yep. It makes me kinda special! 😊 😊
Something not so special. Ack! Those noisy storms and other banging sounds like fireworks. I hate them. Theirs no polite way to put it! But I make up for it by loving my humans!

Something awesomely crazy about me – which I bet will make you laugh. But… I’m a zoomie loving, floor surfing laddie (tiles are great for surfing on!) Ha! I love it! Oh – and I’ll do it again … and again.. and maybe again! Oh.. and we’re both four year olds, though not related. What more fun could you ever want?
Adoption details
Happy Huskies Victoria Inc. (HHV) is a new Community Foster Care Network (CFCN). We are a friendly, dedicated, breed-passionate team of volunteers assisting with rescued, surrendered and/or abandoned Siberian Huskies. Collectively, we bring you more than 20 years experience in Rescue and Rehoming Siberian Huskies.
We do our best to match any of our Siberian Huskies available with their perfect forever home.
To do this we will speak with potential adoptees, we ask that an Expression of Interest Adoption form be completed, then, if needed, we may do a yard check to minimise any escape routes for the Siberian Husky. We then ask potential adoptees to meet the Siberian. If all goes well - the Adoptee family then pays the adoption fee, and starts a trial period.
Sometimes we can receive more than 40 applications for the one Siberian Husky. Which is fantastic for the Siberian. However, not so perfect for the families - as they miss out. We consider all applications before any Siberian Husky goes on trial. Please be patient with us. If you miss out, we're happy to keep your application for the next suitable Siberian that enters our Rescue Program.
For more information about our Adoption Processes, please send queries to us at by emailing support@happyhuskies.org.au. Thank you.
