About Teddy Bear
Hi there! My name is Teddy Bear. I am a handsome lad with the shiniest black fur out there. Due to my name, you might be tempted to cuddle me immediately. Please don't do this as I am a bit of a shy boy who will take time to get comfortable with you. I will give you a growl to tell you that you're making me uncomfortable. If you keep your distance though and just let me trust you in my own time, I will eventually show you my personality. In the few weeks I've spent with my foster carer, I have started giving her slow blinks and have shown her a bit of my cute and dorky self.
I have also started chatting to my foster carer. She'll get excited when I start doing it. She talks to me asking me what I want, I tell her, but then acts as though she didn't understand me. She just keeps on saying I'm so cute with my chirps and then proceeds to list a bunch of things I might want. Sometimes she'Il actually guess it right, but she mostly does nothing about my request. Ugh! It is frustrating you know? Where can a man get proper service? Despite this though, I am still a gentleman and do not yell. I just bask in all the praises thrown at me, because I am indeed a good and handsome boy.
Aside from having good manners, I also have excellent taste in toys. I have a unicorn and cat stuffed toy that I particularly like. I move them around the room, but I generally place them near my bed so they can keep me company while I nap. When I'm feeling energetic, I play with my trusty ping pong balls. I like how they bounce around the room when I swat them hard enough against the walls. At the moment, I haven't exactly shown my foster carer how I play yet, but I have already shown her how much of a good eater I am. I get excited when she comes in with my breakfast and dinner that I rush up to her. When the time comes, this could be you I rush up to... maybe not just for food, but for cuddles as well.
If you think you may have the right home for me, my foster carer will be happy to welcome you at her home in Caversham to meet me. See you then!
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
