About Penelope
Hi Subjects!
Your regal over-pawd Penelope here, reporting for pats and tuna. I was found hanging out at a roundabout, just limping along, minding my own business. Someone decided that was no place for a queen like me so that's how I ended up here. I've been in foster for a couple of months now and as much as I'm having a lovely time I've decided I'd like to let one of you into my life.
I am very small so I don't take up too much room and I like sleeping most of the day. I would like 2-3 hours for pats in the evening but as long as you can fulfill those demands I think we'll get along very well.
What's in it for you, I hear you ask? Well, I happen to be the softest, fluffiest cat you've ever met and I will give you little kisses when we have pats. I may seem a bit stand-offish at first but I do love to be around humans, I'm just too important to be a lap cat.
I've recently had surgery to remove one of my front paws but it doesn't affect me moving around too much. I was in a lot of pain before so it's a relief to not have to worry about that now.
I currently live in a house with no pets and due to my three legged status I will need to be inside at all times. I am usually quite calm but will give you a gentle nip if I've had enough pats so I may be best in a house without small children.
If I sound like the right kitty for you then please come meet me!
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
