Hi my name is Stella and I am just 2.5 years old.
I looooooovvvvveeeee people and I would love a foster to adopt home where I can be an inside/outside girl and be part of the family. I have limited experience around children but did get to meet some in my foster home a few times for a play and thought they were pretty cool. Due to my size I would like large breed savvy children aged 6+ to play with :)
I was used to my owners working full time but had a bit of anxiety pop up during my move from the country to the big city so the lovely trainers are helping me work on this. I should be ok going back to a full time working household as long as my people are willing to continue my training but I would LOVE to have someone home at least part time to chill out with.
I am a good girl around livestock so if you have a horse or two or some cows, I’m all good with that! I don’t like cats, birds i am not sure as i haven’t met any and pocket pets hmmm could they be a tasty snack? Oops sorry...
I do prefer being an only dog however i have just graduated from a training course where i had a sleepover with some trainers for 4 weeks to work on my confidence. You see other dogs make me nervous and I think they are pretty scary to be honest. I’m fine if they stick to their space and not come into mine, so walks I’m a breeze and will walk nicely next to you without a care in the world, but I really don’t like them in my personal bubble.
During my training I learnt how to to be brave and socialise nicely with other dogs. I do prefer large dogs over the small ones, I just can't seem to figure them out! I will not be the type of girl you can take to a dog park however I may enjoy a large breed, calm, balanced doggy brother to live with :)
I have learnt some basic obedience and lifestyle skills and would love someone willing to do some more training with me, i love to please my people!
As Stella is currently in training, she will first need to come into foster care to ensure she settles nicely back into home life. Once ready, Stella's adoption fee is $550 which includes her being desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, wormed and flea/tick treated. If you have any questions or are interested in fostering to adopt Stella please hit the enquire button for a foster application.
