Norm is a beautiful boy who is extremely friendly with people, has lots of short-term energy to burn, and knows sit, drop and shake with both front feet.
Norm just loves to hang around with you inside and after a good walk and some mental stimulation he is happy to chill out for the day.
Norm currently lives with a male retriever. They play well together, but Norm can be a little too enthusiastic at times. So if Norm were to go to a home with another dog he would need to live with a dog matched in energy, age and play style. Introductions would need to be done gradually as Norm can be a little hyper at first meeting although he is easily recalled (not if there is a real temptation like pocket pets though).
He isn't suitable to be with small animals like cats, rabbits, chickens. Although he has lived in proximity with cattle in the past, he is not suited to a farm situation where he would be tempted by too many animals around.
Lovely Norm has a lot to give to the family that will make him part of their pack and give him the attention he craves.
Thank you to Heather of Dixon Dog Photography for the fantastic photos of Norm.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you to as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
