About Tazer
PLEASE NOTE: Tazer is only allowed to be adopted in NSW and ACT.
Tazer is a stunning Black and Tan five year old desexed male German Shepherd in need of a loving home. Taser walks well on a halti but is very strong and determined.
Tazer is a gentle Shepherd who is the biggest sook ever. He loves belly rubs and lots of attention, and suffers separation anxiety. So he will need a family who will work with this anxiety. He is able to open a sliding door if unlocked, and can jump through a window with only fly screen.
Tazer has been around older children who were dog savvy.
Tazer will need a confident owner who will commit to his continued basic and lead training.
Tazer has learnt to sit, heel, lay down, shake and gives a very gorgeous and surprisingly gentle hug.
We would like Tazer’s new owner to allow him to be included as a family member and given plenty of stimulation and walks.
Tazer is not suitable to go to a home with cats, pocket pets or small dogs, and is probably best in a home on his own as he doesn't like to share the attention.

Medical notes
Tazer has been desexed, C5 vaccinated, is heart worm negative and is microchipped.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
