About Jia
Meow, my name is Jia! I was found wandering around the streets of Fremantle and found what I thought was free food. Much to my surprise, it was a trap! I wasn't worried at first, because I have a microchip, but my owners didn't register their details to it and so there was no number for Cat Haven to call! I waited but they didn't come looking for me so now I'm ready to find a furr-ever home where I will be loved and taken care of.
It's taken me a bit of time to settle into my foster house because I'm quite nervous, but I am getting more trusting every day. My foster mum is loving watching me gradually come out of my shell. I'll now poke my nose around the laundry door to enquire about when it might be time for dinner.
You know how some cats (and people) can be quite high maintenance? Well, I'm not. In fact, I'm very independent. I'm also quite nocturnal - I like to curl up and snooze during the day and then come out to play around the house after the sun goes down. So I don't mind at all if you're out of the house at work all day. I'm very clean, tidy and healthy, so it doesn't take much to look after me. All I ask is somewhere comfy and quiet (probably without small kids or other animals) where I can continue to learn how to trust people. It will take time, but it will be a really rewarding experience for both you and me!
I have beautiful white paws and emerald eyes. Come see for yourself at my foster home in
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
