About Sonny
“Sonny” is a 2 year old Siberian husky x. Please research the Husky breed before applying. Applications with breed experience are preferred. Sonny is fully toilet trained and loves to spend time both indoors and out. He loves everyone meets but we are looking for home without young children due to his boisterous nature - from 4 up would be best. Ideally Sonny would love another female dog his size to live with as he loves the company of larger breeds. Sonny IS NOT good with small dogs , cats, livestock or pocket pets he has a very high prey drive with smaller animals. Sonny also does not travel very well in the car and needs to be secured in to prevent him trying to scramble through to the front. He also barks/howls while driving. He walks well on the lead once he settles into it (initially he does pull). Sonny needs a home with secure fencing. He follows basic commands and does not dig, chew or bark at home. Sonny is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and his adoption fee is $350
Adoption details
If you are interested in one of our animals please phone or send an email to rescue@btcanimalshelter.com.au and we will reply as soon as possible.
A questionnaire will need to be completed which will allow us to ensure we are placing our animals into the right home. Once the completed questionnaire is received, we will respond by email / phone call to discuss the animal in further detail, and answer any other questions you may have. Please note that completing the questionnaire does not place you under any obligation to adopt. We can arrange a meet and greet for you (and existing pets) to spend some time with the pet and see if they are likely to fit into your life.
If you decide to adopt, payment is made and you can welcome your new pet into your life!
We offer a 2 week trial period.
