About Dani
Hi, my name is Dani! I dream of being a movie star in a horror movie, maybe as a stereotypical omen of foreshadowing? Right now I am being treated for ringworm, and I am accepting my treatment like a champion!
I am beautiful, silky soft, black coated young lady. It's unfortunate that black kitties are considered unlucky when we have so much love to give. In reality I never look dirty and will suit your favourite black formal wear. Because I am a scared hissy missy, I entered into a foster home to get more one on one time. To begin with I hid in the shadows and hissed, meow-growled and sang.
My foster mummy thinks my hissing is Oscar worthy! But I have never been able to method act, so no biting or intentional scratching from me. I do get scared and accidently scratch. Only because I try so hard to hold onto anything when I am being moved. As with everything my purr is a loud one, and I loovee kneading with my needle sharp feet- my foster mummy recommends using a pillow to protect stomachs. I get startled easily, and will sometimes go straight from purring to hissing. For safety my foster mummy keeps her face paws reach away from mine, just in case I get super scared.
I'm still pretty young, so my foster mummy can't say for sure what I will be like as an adult. That is the fun journey of adopting a teen, we get to discover that together. I am super interested in the outside world, so my foster mummy keeps careful eye on me when she opens doors or windows.
I loved to play with my cat foster brother, and he helps me feel more comfortable. There is also a cat foster grandmother I want to play with. But she hisses at me to leave her in peace and I ignore her. My foster mummy says that is both good and bad, since I don't push my luck but also don't run away. I would need a well supervised introduction to new furry family members. With my ringworm diagnosis I have to practice good hygiene and social distancing. Foster mummy says it's easy for people at the moment since everyone is practicing it already.
Paw printsCome meet me online in my foster home. Looking forward to playing with you in the future.
Meow for now, Dani
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
