About Rudolph
Rudolph is a gorgeous boy who has been fostered with us for around 4 months now. His first weeks were hiding and running away because he is scared of humans.
He made friends instantly with our resident cat and they get on really well. He also made friends with 2 short term fosters as well.
He loves to play, and needs play stimulation each day which keeps him happy. He loves a fishing wand and chases the feathers frantically trying to catch them, and often does! He is very agile and fast. He amuses himself with a toy mouse and a ping pong ball as well. He loves his scratching post and often lies on top of it and looks out of the window.
He is a lovely companion and has lovely soft fur and the fluffiest tail!
He is a very gentle soul and likes to be around us, but not too close! He will approach at times for a scratch when he feels brave, and we even get a little head bump now. He initiates the contact and purrs ever so softly. He is getting braver all the time, he just needs patience.
He may never be a lap cat, nor a big smoocher but he does like to be near and see what is going on but will run if you try to approach him. During the day, he is happy to sleep somewhere out of the way. At night you will find him not far away while you read or watch TV. Recently he has curled up on the sofa next to me. Rudolph needs a quiet environment and humans that understand his fear and will patiently wait for him to learn to trust.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
