Banjo is a sensitive highly anxious boy who needs a lot of reassurance from an experienced calm and confident adult. He is very loving to people he trusts. Banjo will growl or snap if he feels threatened or cornered. He is groomed under sedation or with a muzzle as he is sensitive to touch of parts of face and hind legs. He is social with other small dogs. He has a non-shedding coat and weighs 6.6kg.

Suit Home Based Worker: Unable to cope alone and has shown signs of separation anxiety. Needs human company.

Apartment Friendly: Could cope in an apartment environment. Regular walks or use of an artificial grass patch is suggested.

Adult Home: Nervous or not tolerant of children. And/or too high a level of excitability for children to control.

NEEDS RESCUE EXPERIENCE:

These dogs need someone with previous rescue experience in rehabilitation, with an in depth understanding of and experience in building relationships with these kinds of dogs.
